BWISC Bulletin No 4 - January 1955

BAHAMAS

Type 1 Samples

I have not seen the 1d. lake (S.G. 2) imperforate mentioned in Bulletin No.2 but the 1d. rose-red (S.G.7a) imperforate of ST. VINCENT (same printers and about the same date) is found with the horizontal pen stroke across the middle of the stamp and I believe strips are known with continuous pen stroke. This item is also thought to have been a specimen or business sample not to be confused with the later U.P.U. specimens."
