"I have in my possession a Registered Airmail cover from St. Peter, Barbados on which in place of the normal registration label there is a pen-drawn rectangle with 'St. Peter/R 22' inscribed in it. It is backstamped 'Registration Branch. G.P.O. Barbados' and is dated 12th May, 1956. Can any member state whether this is a normal practice in the smaller Post Offices or if it was due to the stock of the customary labels being temporarily exhausted?"
