''With reference to Mr. Cloves' notes (Bulletin No. 8) on the abbreviated postmarks of St. Kitts, it is interesting to learn of the issue of duplex marks to the villages. My own copies arc limited to the c.d.s., the earliest being SP dated 31.12.01. As regards the non-duplex type I have a dated copy of SP on Leeward Islands S.G.76 dated 17.5.24 and two on S.G.52, the year not being very clear. This mark is 26 mm. in diameter against the 20 mm. of the duplex type.
Can any member throw light on the abbreviated CA mark which I have on Leeward Islands S.G.1 dated 24.4.04. Is this a mark for Cayon? There is a suspicion of' the other half of a duplex mark showing on my copy. '
